Cousins...

Tallyn and Sklyer came for a visit a few days after Easton was born. Sklyer was a little shy at first to hold her, but once she came around and held her she couldn't get enough of her. Tallyn on the other hand was his silly self and pretend that he had to go to the bathroom so we would move Easton off of him. So instead of talking pictures of Easton with her cousins..... we gave the camera to Sklyer and let her take pictures of us. We sure do miss them and can't wait to see them again soon!!

When Lillie came to the hospital to meet Easton she was so excited!! When she first came into the room you should have seen her looking around for Easton. Lillie was holding her and told me that she was glad that Easton was real.

Easton Kate LaFata has finally arrived!!!

My doctor was going to induced me on Monday, the 6th, but when I went to my doctors appt on Wednesday he induced me that night. My blood pressure was a wee bit high...so he sent me downstairs and I checked myself into the hospital. John and my mom where there within the hour. By the time I was already to go it was 6:00 pm and I she was born at 9:54 weighing 7.7 lbs. and 20" long.

We put up the crib the other day and I can't keep Lillie out of it. Not only does she like to climb in it... she likes to pretend that she is a baby, she found a pacifier that she likes to have when she is in the crib and then she will talk like one, cry like one and and even scream like one. She can climb in it, but she can't get out. The first night that we put it up she thought it was pretty cool, and the next morning when she woke up and said "mom come and get me", guess where she was..... in the crib!!! who knows when she got in it.

Preschool....

Yesterday was Lillie's first day of preschool. She was so excited to go. When she woke up she yelled from her room, "mom I'm ready to go to school". She gets to wear a uniform and when we where getting her dressed she said, "everyone is going to love my dress". When I dropped her off she was so excited and couldn't wait to go with her teacher. She is such a big girl and I'm so proud of her!!!!

Hope you all' Had a wonderful 4th of July!! We spent the day with friends...playing, eating and fireworks. Lillie loved the fireworks that where up in the sky. She wasn't so sure about the ground fireworks, I think they where a little to close for her liking!

Swimming

Lillie is just like me and loves to go swimming, if we could we would go everyday. Especially being pregnant, I just can't get enough of the water. So we headed off to the pool again yesterday with our cute friends, Haldey and Ryder!

Father's Day

We spent the day fishing up at Smith'n Moore house. We went with my mom and Dad, Scott, Tallyn and Skyler. The kids had fun fishing and throwing rocks in the water.

I was so nervous Tuesday night that Lillie was not going to perform at her dance recital, that she was going to do the same thing that she did the night before at the dress rehearsal. But WOW I was so proud of her, she did such a great job!!! Even though she wasn't perfect performing the dance, she did awesome. Her little friend Morgan did do the dance perfect. All the little Bee's looked so cute up there on stage.

Last night was Lillie's dress rehearsal for her dance,"Beauty and the Beast". As you can tell she wasn't in the mood to dance. Yes that is her sitting on the floor on the very end on the right side. The second time they preformed there dance she did a little better, once I gave her a huge piece of gum. Tonight is the actual performance, so hopefully she will do better.

Last night John finally told me that we could name her Easton Kate LaFata. I'm so excited!! I'm not sure how Lillie is going to deal with this news, but hopefully she will like the name by the time Easton is here.

Today we had out ultrasound and we are having another girl!!! Lillie is very excited and wants to name her, Allie, I'm shooting for the name Easton Kate, but John doesn't know how he feels about that name, not to mention that we are having another girl. I know he is a little sad that he didn't get his boy that he wanted, but he is, and will be the best Daddy to his two girls.

I can't get enough of these mailboxes from Target's dollar spot. I made one for all of Lillie's friends. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for the boys I didn't want them to be to girly, but I did add a few hearts.... It is valentines after all. I'm also making cupcakes for there familes and will be putting the cute little elephant tags on the plate of cupcakes.

I started to work on my Christmas cards last night. I try to start them early so that I can have them done by November...LOL!! but really it never happens that way. The first card I used Basic Grey, Fruitcake paper and SU Flaky Friends for the "Happy Holidays"

On the second card I used SU Doodle This set and Chatterbox Holiday paper. My favorite is the snowman card!!

I saw this picture frame at All My Memories, which is one of my favorite scrapbook stores, and it was a class that you could take to make it, taught by my favorite teacher... Amber Packer and of course her class was full so I had to go home and make it my self.

I got the frame from Roberts and I used basic grey paper and rubbon on's. The flower and is Making Memories.
